Shadowrocket Guide - Official Manual is the official website and manual for Shadowrocket. This policy applies to visits to and use of this site, and explains how data is handled while you browse. It does not replace information in the Shadowrocket app or Apple's privacy terms.

1. Site services and data scope

This static site provides guidance on verifying the official app, purchasing it, importing an existing subscription, and configuring the app. It has no user registration, account sign-in, or email collection forms. You can read the guides without submitting your name, phone number, payment details, or Apple Account credentials.

When you request a page, the server hosting this site receives information needed to deliver it, including your IP address, requested path, request time, browser type, and response status. These access logs support page delivery, troubleshooting, and site security. Do not include personal information in query parameters in site URLs.

Manage your existing subscriptions, server details, and configuration in the app. This site does not collect those details, and does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. A one-time purchase of the client does not include a network service plan.

2. Traffic analytics and how they are used

This site uses traffic analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device categories, and interactions such as clicks on App Store links. The data helps us make guides easier to find, identify broken links, and improve reading on mobile devices. It is not used to assess your connection activity in Shadowrocket.

When you click a store button on the Getting the App page, the site may record one interaction event identifying the link category and click action. This does not confirm a completed purchase, and does not give this site access to Apple's payment or order records.

Analytics should collect only the information needed for these purposes. You are not asked to provide subscription URLs, passwords, or full configurations for traffic analytics. Site analytics cannot access request logs within the app.

3. Cookies and browser storage

Depending on the deployment settings, analytics components may use cookies or similar browser storage to distinguish visits and reduce duplicate counts. Your browser may also cache pages, fonts, and images. Caching is part of loading site resources and is different from information you actively submit.

This site does not use browser storage to save Apple Account credentials, payment information, or subscription details. You can check specific cookies and local storage items in your browser's site data settings. The storage records may vary by browser and analytics configuration.

You can block cookies, restrict scripts, or clear this site's data in your browser. The static page content remains available, though some analytics, navigation, or preference features may be affected. Clearing browser data does not erase access logs already recorded by the server.

4. App Store and in-app data

The only place to get Shadowrocket is the App Store product page. Apple operates that page and its purchase services. Once you leave this site, Apple's terms and privacy policy govern account verification, payment, purchase records, and related data processing.

This site cannot make purchases on your behalf or view your store account status. Check the App Store page for system requirements and purchase availability. VPN configuration permissions, logs, syncing, and other data handling in the app depend on your settings and the in-app information; this site's traffic analytics policy does not cover them.

5. Privacy choices and policy updates

You can manage local data through your browser's permissions, site data settings, and content restrictions. To check a site interaction, start by reviewing your browser history. For help with setup, see the FAQ or Getting Started Guide. Do not include account credentials or subscription keys in your inquiry.

This site retains relevant records only as needed to operate the service, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal obligations. This policy does not set a fixed retention period. If the site structure, analytics practices, or applicable requirements change, this page will be revised and the date at the top updated. Please review this policy when the data practices that matter to you change.
