Terms of Use
These terms apply when you visit Shadowrocket Guide and use the documentation on this site. Before following the instructions in the manual, please review its scope and the limits of responsibility.
1. About This Site and Its Scope
Shadowrocket Guide is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This site provides documentation on verifying the genuine app, purchasing it, importing subscriptions you already have, configuring rules, and troubleshooting. These terms govern use of this site's content; they do not replace App Store transaction terms, the app license, or applicable law.
Follow the manual's instructions in light of what you actually see on your device. The app interface, system permission flows, and App Store information may change. If anything differs, check the current in-app wording and App Store page before proceeding.
2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities
When using Shadowrocket or referring to this site, you must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are, network-use rules, and the terms of any services you use. Do not use related features for illegal activities, to violate others' rights, to access data without authorization, or to disrupt network operations.
Importing requires subscription or server details that you already own or have the right to use. Make sure you are authorized to use them, and keep your accounts, access credentials, configuration files, and subscription links secure. Before sharing screenshots or logs, or asking for help, remove personal information and any sensitive details that could be used to access a service.
3. App Purchases and Service Boundaries
Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app available only on Apple platforms, primarily for iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get it. Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official icon, and app ID 932747118. Check the App Store page for system requirements.
A one-time client purchase is not a service subscription. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy nodes or subscription services. App purchases, payments, refunds, and restoring purchases are handled under the App Store rules in effect at the time. This site's documentation does not guarantee transaction outcomes or external services. For verification steps, see Getting the App.
4. Availability and Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee that the documentation will always be complete or up to date, or that the app or network connection will remain available. Connection results depend on factors including device status, system settings, configuration, network conditions, and the services you use. Example rules illustrate syntax only and may not suit every use case.
Back up essential data and check how to restore it before changing configurations, updating subscriptions, or moving to another device. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for loss of availability, data, or related indirect damages resulting from reliance on the documentation, configuration changes, service interruptions, or device issues. Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it.
5. Intellectual Property and Use of Content
The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related intellectual property belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. The official icon, interface screenshots, and product name shown on this site are used to identify the product and explain its operation. Their display does not transfer any rights or grant permission to redistribute the app.
When quoting this site's documentation, credit the source and retain the necessary context. Do not alter its technical meaning, misrepresent yourself as this site, or present examples as service commitments. Quoting the documentation does not change ownership of any third-party materials or products mentioned in it.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms to reflect content updates, product changes, or legal requirements. Any revised terms and the month of the latest update will be posted on this page. Revisions apply to visits and use from the time they are published and do not retroactively change rights or obligations that have already arisen under applicable law.
If you have questions about the instructions, check the FAQ or Getting Started Guide and verify the relevant steps. For information about personal data processing, please read the Privacy Policy.
